Help, I Swapped Motors??

I pulled the engine out of my 2-WD AND put in into my 4-WD, and it cranks, but will only run while i have my foot on the gas petal giving it gas...Inside the distbutor is all rusty lookin, i bought a new rotor for it, it has the vaccum advance on it, the arm on it is rusted, uh i had a new distrubutor for my 2-WD but it want fit my 2-WD becuase the plugs are different, and no vaccum advance on it. Any help would be great!!!!!!

Does it seem to run normal at higher rpm's and just will not idle or does it run bad all of the time?

It want idle at all, i crank it up, and it will die, if i dont give it gas. Not sure what else to tell you??? any help...

have we tried adjusting the idle control screw yet? checking for vac leaks and all the other basics?
