Crank shaft spacer

I recently bought a 91 b2200 fuel injected. I noticed a funny knock at the front of engine. I discovered that I can move the lower pulley (at crankshaft) in and out about 1/2 inch. Any ideas what may cause this? Is there a spacer at the front of the crankshaft on this vehicle? Let me know if anyone is farmiliar with this problem. Thanx

RE: Crank shaft spacer

some crank bolts have a big thick washer others have it as part of the bolt.
check yours and make sure the bolts tight.
