Banging in the front end

On a 1993 Mazda, what could make a clanging sound it the front end whenever I am in 4wd giving it gas?

A few things could....

Bad U-joints in the Driveline
Bad CV Driveshaft going to the hub
Bad locking hub
Broken components in the front differential
Bad front wheel bearings (would make noise ALL the time, not just in 4wd)
Broken internal parts in transfer case
Worn or broken front suspension parts
