I need help with the passenger seat in my truck. The lever on the side of the seat will no longer allow the seat to recline. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could correct the this?

 

Can you get to the mechanism to take a picture? If I can see it I can probably let you know how to fix it (I'm a seat engineer.)

Either the handle actuates a cam directly or it pulls a cable of some kind to release the recline mechanism.
