i got a 1989 b2600i from my teacher. it was in his woods and he couldn't get it out. we hauled it to my friends house to work on it. we put new plugs in it, and it ran fine, but wouldn't idle right because it had old gas in it. We fixed the frame and stuff cause it was rotted. I took it home, drove it a while and it started dogging when i got in any gear over 1st. one day i was driving it in the field and it just killed. I took it home and checked the gas in it, it was half full. I put a new gas tank on it though, new fuel filter and just put new plugs in it again. the cap and rotor are fine, and so are the points. it's getting plenty of fuel. now it wont idle wont run when i give it gas. i ajusted the timing all the way so it would idle, and it idles but won't run if i give it gas. my brother is a mechanic and he said he thinks the timing chain might have skipped on me.
