Default B2500 Torque settings help

Im currently rebuilding a b2500 engine and was wondering if anyone knows what the head bolts torque setting is. The mazda dealers are being very unhelpful atm with this, so if anyone knows what the settings are it will be very appreciated

Thanks

Default RE: B2500 Torque settings help

It sounds like you don't have a manual for your B2500. I highly recommend that you get a manual. I have two, Chilton and Haynes, for my B2200 and used both of them when I rebuilt the engine. I'm 63 and have been working on small engines, go carts, motorcycles, and cars since I was 9. I discovered on several occasions that a manual is a good thing to have. They can save you a lot of headaches, redo's, and money and they're only $20. There's also eautorepair.net online with starting subscriptions at $9.95.

Good luck with the rebuild!
