need help have this crewcab since new onely 60.000 miles and few months ago started to get hard to start when engine hot, start first turn cold, changed primeing pump on fuel filter plus non-return valve on fuel line now garage wants to fit engine coolant tempeture switch and if not that they say its diesel injection pump, anyone met this problem, does not seem to have the same power as it used to have but never failed to start would just turn over 8 or 10 times when hot sometimes would take second go to start, help help help regard;kieran

I've had same problem I've had a refurbished pump put on the after that I've had fuel line problems I replaces all fuel lines and filters it still dosent start is air getting into you fuel lines is the primer holding pressure

Injectors were completely destroyed from getting dirty diesel in my local garage, which has been closed up for selling washed diesel, or so i am told, i have learned my lesson with cheap diesel, refurbished fuel pump was the answer, never ran better, guy who done pump could tell me where i was getting my diesel, told me the fuel is washed with a form of acid and about 2% of the acid is left in the fuel and this destroys the injectors in the pump. so 600 euro and thank you very much.
