98 b4000 no start

my 98 b4000 will not start sometimes, it turns over with lots of power. i put a new fuel pump in recently. but it has no spark at the coil pack. when i get a push start it will fire up and run fine. this no start problem is intermitten. most times it will start right up. someone told me about the cam sensor?? does anyone have any info for me?? thanks in advance.

Any codes? Cam sensor/crank sensor would be my first tests.

RE: 98 b4000 no start

thanks for the reply hixx; i put on a new cam sensor, but a day later it is doing the same thing. intermitten no start. but as soon as i push start the truck it fires up right away. and it will usually be good for the rest of the day. it seems i wont start first thing in the morning. any other ideas? i am going to change the crank sensor; would you know where it is located?? its a 98 mazda B4000 4.0 L V6 5spd.
thanks again.

It should be at the bottom front of the engine at the crank pulley. Are there no pending codes in the PCM?
