94 Mazda B2300 Hydraulic Clutch Line Removal

I'm changing out the clutch and flywheel in my 94 B2300 but I can't see how to disconnect the clutch hydraulic line from the tranny. Haynes says to use a clutch hydraulic line quick disconnect removal tool or a flat head screw drive but when I look at the so called quick disconnect, there is no lip to catch the screw drive on. Has anyone done this and if so can you shed some light on how this thing comes apart?

I figured the quick disconnect out myself. It appears that whoever changed the clutch out last damaged the quick disconnect release sleeve rendering it impossible to disconnect the hydraulic line. I will either buy another one or most likely just replace the clutch and flywheel without completely dropping the transmission.
