Has anyone tryed to put a 2 din stereo in a 2005 b4000? I just bought a jvc touch screen bt stereo for the lady friend for christmas, and when I go to install it, the space in the dash is about 1" to small, is this a 1.5 din opeing? anyway to make it work? Not much reference material online that I could find on this...

 

Hey Yetti. I'm new to the board but just came across your post. I think it's a 1.5 din. I ended up installing a regular single din Pioneer CD player I ordered from Crutchfield and it came with the wiring harness and the the new plastic mounting frame which had a place to store a CD or 2 making up the difference in size. I used that space for an extra wire etc for IPod and also my satelite stereo. Left the stock speakers. Huge difference!!! Hope yours worked out.
