The truck has interior lights,radio etc but it will not crank,i dont hear any clicking noises like relays or fuel pump kicking on. The starter has been tested and it's fine,the alternator is good battery is good,replaced battery terminal clamps,replaced neutral safety switch this truck is a automatic not manual. It would start intermittently for about 2 weeks i thought it was the battery so I'd throw a charger on it and about 2 hours later it would start now it now it does nothing, when i changed the terminal conmectors i did notice it looked like the whole battery cable itself looked corroded under the rubber sheathing. The gearshifter itself is a little wobbly idk if maybe thats an issue idk what to check in the column or elsewhere im at a loss. Any help or opinions on this would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Replace the cable FIRST. Always fix FIRST what you KNOW is bad.

And if you don't have an inexpensive digital multimeter, get one. It will come in handy someday even if above fixes the issue.

 

Try jump starting directly to the starter motor.
