1992 B2600 Problem (need help!)

I have a 1992 Mazda b2600. It's an 2wd, automatic, extra cab truck. I have major problems with this truck. Heres the situation... after running the truck for awhile or if i get the engine warmed up. I would turn off the truck and a few minutes later I try to start it back up, but the engine would crank over, but the engine wont start up. Sometimes, when I hold the gas pedal down and start the engine again it would sometimes start, but there are times when the engine would just shut off. Also the other problem with my engine.... is when im in traffic my truck would have a rough idle. even when im just driving my truck i would push on my gas pedal just to speed up, my truck would sometimes studder (which seems like the truck is not getting enough gas to the engine). There is no check engine light that comes on... I've changed the fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, wires, rotor and capthinking that wouldsolve the problem. I've talk to someone over the phone and he told me that it could be the heat sensor? is that the temperture sensoror aoxygen sensor?

Please anyone who encountered this situation or have a solution to this problem let me know!

Could it be the fuel pump? That might be a good place to look.

Go to this link. If your ecm has never been repaired it might be time. He fixed mine in 2004 and so far no problems. Good Luck.

I am having some start up problems with a 90 model and I think it may be due to a bad water coolant temp. sensor. See what some of the other guys think. It cranks great when the temp is warm but on a cold morning, it doesn't start well at all. Later in the day, the sensor has to be unplugged to make it run right.

Found the problem with the truck!

I talked to a relative of mine and he told me it was the Coolant Temperature Sensor.. So, i gave it a try and that seems to be the problem... my truck has no problems starting and the idle runs smooth.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope this is the solution, but so far so good... I'll let you guys know if i fall into this problem again..

I am having the same problem. Was the temp gauge working properly prior to the sensor change?
