1989 B2600i Specs

Hello, this is my first post and i also just got a 1989 Mazda B2600i Reg Cab Short-Box 4x4 2.6L engine 5-spd. It's a solid truck and drives well. I am looking for the specs on the vehicle and if anyone has a Brochure that they could e-mail that would be great. Also i was going to buy a Toyota, i had my mind set on it but when i saw this ad about this truck i just wanted to take a look because i had always kind of liked The B2600i. I wonder if it has any of the potential that a Toyota truck has in upgrading with after-market stuff. I mean is there any performance products out there for the engine? Does it even compare to a Toyota of the same year? I just got the truck today and i dont usually buy a vehicle unless i know almost everything about it but i just did so yeah.

Anyhelp would be great

thanks

RE: 1989 B2600i Specs

generally...........mazda trucks have never been known for their speed. in fact you will hear them refered to as mazdawgs. there are a decent handful of performance upgrades you can do to get the max out of your truck, but in comparison, i would say that toyota has more manufacturers of more performance parts. dont let this deter you though, there are always ways that you can perform your own modifications to get more from the truck. you can pick up a header, change out the exhaust, buy a Weber carb .36 or .38 to get the most out of the product, change the cooling fan to electric, and quite a number of other things. email me or reply to this post with more specific questions that you may have.

B2600i Truck Specs

Here is a page on my site that has a few specs on the B2600i. I have a factory manual for the truck as well as some other specs like HP and Torque I got off of ShopKey but havn't added them to the page yet. If you check the page again in 3 or 4 days I will try to have more info on it.
