1989 b2200 fuel pump

Does this year have a mechanical pump or is it inside the tank? the chiltons book does not tell me wich is wich.can someone please help thanks

Ihave a 1989 b2200 that has the mechanical fuel pump mounted on therightside(passenger side) of the cylinder head. (carburated)

If yours is carbureted, look under the air cleaner assembly on passenger side, near the firewall. That's where a mechanical fuel pump and fuel filter would be. If yours is fuel injected, then you have electric pump in tank for sure.
