Default 12-valve cylinder swap?

Just trying to confirm whether or not the 12-valve head works on the B2200 2.2L motor.

I thought I was in touch with someone that said it does. Anybody here try it? What parts do I need to make sure I grab off a donor in the junkyard? Do all the oil ports and water ports line up?

Yes it will bolt up, but, the distributor would be located at the rear of the head and the firewall is in the way. That said, if you can locate a front housing for an Mazda Bongo (imported from Australia?) then that locates the dist. at the front of the head......from what I understand this is possible, although I have never done it!

These parts are surely available at junkyard because junk car removal companies separate those parts and place it aside in the junkyard.
