My daughter has a 94' 626, 6 cly. She came home from college for Thanksgiving and her car was overheating, also no heat from the heater. I figured it might be the thermostat, so went down to the local auto parts store and bought one. I assumed the thermostat would be where the top hose connects to the engine block, but after checking, there doesn't appear be a place for the thermostat.

Where is the thermosata located?
