Default Turbo...ya dont say, on a 323? what else?

Well I heard word that some 323s have turbo! It sure sounds like fun, almost as fun as first gear. Is it some thing that come stock on special models or can you put it on aftermarket. that would be so rad...

Hey even though Im puting my car back together I alway think about peformance. Is It possible to put one on an '89 323, I would be like the coolest kid in town, once I get my hubcaps. I cant wait to drive again.....

On the performance note, what else can I do to make my oily beast the king of the road, other than a lift. Im talking horsepower, or something to make the cooling system better? I would probably bring it to the point where it was top of the line in 88. this car has gone through so much oil its completly covered, but once I put the head gasket on Im gonna pressure wash it out . I think Ill take a before and after shot of my dirty girl.

funny story, the car earned the name bloody booger from the previous owner always getting bloody noses...yah not that funny but it fits with it being his run down car.

I would love to hear every performance tweek or mods yall did on your rides. I just need to moderate my self on over doing it.... like when I over modded my computer, see all the more things to go wrong, especially with daisy chains. At least it makes a killer light show.

They were made factory with a turbo along with being All Wheel Drive. Known as a "GTX" model of 323's. You can google it to learn more. They still have a hefty price tag if you can find one in decent shape.

Yah I figured it was a different engine set up cause when I ordered my gasket she was like "is it turbo", I was like "turbo eh, I wish". "its a 1.6?" "Um yes?" let me just wipe this grease out of the way...

I guess what my car needs is a pass window, hasnt had one since my buddy took it snowboarding, I got it with a plexigas taped to the door, classy.
