Transmission (Hold)

I need help with my 93 mazda 626 L X
My transmission doesn't shift right. the HOLD button keeps on flashing on my dash. I keep pushing the HOLD button on my hand shiftier, but
it just keep on flashing. I change out my transmission oil and still no change with the HOLD button flashing and still no change in how the transmission
shifts. Does anyone have any ideas?

The flashing hold light indicates there is a problem. You need to get a diagnostic code check.
