Top speed of '92 323?

First time poster, internet veteran. I've owned two Mazdas, a 1991 323 and a 1993 Ford Probe (sort of a Mazda). Both had 5 speed manuals. I hit 110 on the freeway one day and it was still climbing, but I had bad tires and I didn't want to push it any further. What is the top speed? Is it governed? I loved that little car. If I could buy a brand new one just like it, I would do it in a heartbeat. Just a simple, honest car that was a blast to drive and very practical. I do believe the 82 advertised horsepower rating was underrated as the car was pretty quick. I miss it.

Speed is never governed. RPM is governed. The looser the engine ( worn out) the faster they will go, top end anyway. The RPM limit is technically the same for each engine but it is only accurate to a certain perameter. So +- 3-5%. The RPM limit can be deleted.
