Default top radiator hose pressurized/expaning?

i replaced the water pump, besides it being a little dirty it still spinned ans firm too.i replaced the water pump and belt, and some new plugs.test drove it to find the top radiator hose pressurized again.

what would be causing this?i open the radiator cap and air/coolant comes out,and i mae sure there wasnt any air before i drove it.

my only idea is the hea is warped or cracked, possibly cylinder pressure is working its way into the coolant passages? or head gasket still holding compression but gone between the passages as well.are these car known for this or ever heard this problem?

I would guess on the head gasket. Ive had them go between the exhaust port and water jacket. This will pressurize the radiator but you wont get water in your oil. Crack open your cap and let the car run up to temp if it starts pumping water out of the top of the radiator then its time for a head job.

It might not be the head itself. It might just be the gasket. I know where there is a head in a j/y but im in Oregon. Just pull it and have it checked you might be alright. Where are you located?

let me ask this is it overheating? and if not hoses do pressurize they are supose to and the hoses get old and like to stretch out over time and blow up so if no overheating it is probably nothing
