Default timing belt install, allighning the gears to tdc

hey all, i am putting a timing belt on a 1990 mazda 929 (twin cam motor) and am very confused by the markings on the cam gears, they have two marks on the gears and i dont know which mark has to be allighned to the marks on the head, the only thing i figure it must have somthing the do with is that they all have "A" on one half and "B" on the other half, so anyone who has done a timing belt on one of these i would greatly appreciate thier help!

cheers Ryan

Don't know about A and B stuff, usually the cams will be marked I for Intake and E for Exhaust. When one of the cams is lined up for Intake the other is lined up for Exhaust. Have you already removed the old belt? With the old belt on it's usually a good idea to first turn the crankshaft bolt in the direction of engine rotation until the crankshaft is at TDC. Then you can see how the cams should be lining up.
