i dont know if you guys could help me out with my car
i have a 1993 mazda protege (4 door) its an automatic

Why does my car go to like 40km/h my RPM is so high i hear the motor run so fast and im almost not moving forward.. (and no the handbrake was not on lol) and after a little time like..1 minutes my car is all ok..

i dont know what is happening.. do you think its the transmission ??

A couple of other questions for you though.
Sounds like this problem is from when you take off from a stop correct?
Is the transmission not shifting into second gear but staying in first gear? By this I mean can you feel it shifting?
Lastly, how often does this happen? Only once? Every time you take off from a stop? Randomly? Once a day? Only when cold or only when engine fully warmed up?
Any more info you have may help to fiqure out what is going on with the Protege.

 

well i went to a garage and the guy said its because my transmission fluid tank was empty :\ that suck cause i think there is a crack so the liquid is going off slowly...

but other question.. how much liter i put in my tank to fill it ??
