I desperately need the cv axles replaced and I am on tight budget. The place on Walters and 35 claims they do most cv axles parts, labor, and installation for $99 but when I called they said they don't carry the parts needed and it would cost me $129 per axle plus $40 each to install. I dont have that kind of money.

I also need to have the wiper motor installed so I can pass inspection.

The last shop I used had my car almost a month and caused me to lose time and money. They eventually installed the distributor and did the timing but it runs really loud after starting it which takes a long time.

I'm near Alamo Heights so any ideas on a reliable shop that can help me even barter for cleaning?
