Mazda familia 323
 

Hi everyone

I just bought a mazda 323 of year 1999 :D. The frame is BJ5P. I found recently that its a 4WD. I didnt know that this model had the 4WD option:eek:. I need more information on this model of mazda. I don't have any technical documents like the manufacturer's specifications, the maintenance manual, etc. Can these be obtained?:confused: i want to collect the maximum amount of information on my car. Moreover, i know that my engine type is ZL. But there are two engine model, ZL-DE and ZL-VE. How do i know what is the engine model for my car? what is the difference between the two?

the 323 is called Protege here....but I dont think we have all wheel drive.

Thanks Grey. I too didnt think that the 323 has all wheel drive until i found that mine has it..This is why i am looking for information in this regard. I'll the PROTEGE forums, thanks again.

Mazda 323 is a subcompact car. It was produced starting from 1975 and the last year that units of this vehicle were crafted was in 1984. When the Mazda 323's lifeline was completed halted that in 1984, Mazda was already cooking up another vehicle to replace and take the spot in their vehicle line up which the Mazda 323 would be leaving blank. The Mazda 323's replacement was the Mazda Mazda3.

The Mazda 323 has been made available in two body styles and these are the sedan and the hatchback. Mazda has also made sure that this vehicle would give interested parties the chance to choose as per what kind of engine would suit their needs, and preferences. The engine choices are the 1.4 liter UC engine, the 1.3 liter E3 engine, and the 1.5 liter E5 engine.
