I'm new here (like you havent heard that before)
Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a 1993 mazda 323. It is owned by a family friend,I don't really know what I am going to offer them for it, how much shouldIpay? There is rust in the normal spots, the upohostry is worn, and the drivers seat is torn to shreads, the tail light is broken, it has new brake pads, and thats pretty muchall I know about it. I haven't had the chance to look under the hood yet, but I will try to do that soon. What should I look for when looking under the hood?
That sounds like a car in preety bad shape for its age! Considering that the majority of 323's of that age are very much rust free, unless they have been bumped here and there... also it has good build quality, so the interior should be in good shape if cared a bit... I have my mazda 323 sedan from 1990, it has drived more than 300000km and, with normal service intervals, it is good as new... maybe it has a few scraches, but almost no rust! (never had a garage, always on the street)
I'm surprised to hear that! But don't worry my one friend is crazy about body work so it will be fine, I helped him with his 1996 Monte Carlo, so im sure he will retun the favor. Plus this will be my first car (I'm only 16), soI am perfectly fine with its condition, I could always go to the junk yard and replace some of the broken stuff!
