Default Cooling fans

The cooling fans are not working when my 1999 626 heats up. They don't come on when I switch on the AC. That may be telling me the fan relay may be out. For the life of me I don't know where it is. Can someone point me in the right direction and tell me some more troubleshooting tips.

Thanks.

Look for the engine compartment fusebox. Pop the cover and you'll see a bunch of fuses and relays. on the underside of the cover is a map denoting the relay and fuse locations, functions and ratings. With ignition off, check fans rotate freely and there are no obstructions between rotors and shrouds.
Troubleshoot the engine main cooling first, because until that's OK, the ECU will lock out the A/C to prevent the addition thermal A/C load from worsening what it thinks is a main cooling system problem.
