Default Changing my brakes

Anybody got any advice on changing the brakes on a '99 626? [sm=usa.gif]
I haven't replaced brakes since I owned a Pontiac so I just want to make sure I do it right.
Thanks in advice for your help!!

Default RE: Changing my brakes

If you have done brakes on a Pontiac, this car is very similar. The caliper is held on with two bolts. Once removed you can access the pads. Use a C-clamp and one of the old pads to squeeze the piston back in and reinstall caliper. If you have a pulsating pedal or the pads are grinding into the rotor you might want to resurface the rotors. If brake pedal is good but pads are at minimum, just replace the pads and don't worry.
