This is the current situation on my march 2001 626 v6 with cruise control....

All five brake light bulbs blew out simultaniously, thought it may have been the stop light switch or the inhibitor switch, but changed both. All of the fuses check out good. I get power to the running lights but not the brakes.... I am now out of clues... Currently stumpped and need help!

well, my first guess would be fuse. very odd all 5 would blow at one time. i don't know if there's a relay in your car just for the brake lights. Surely a fellow 626 owner would be more helpful than me. I've no experience with 626 and never had a problem with brake lights (save a fuse blowing once, causing me to get pulled over, replaced it with cop's assistance)
