Hello,

I've got this problem with my Mazda 626, 99', 2.0 TD:

The red light for the airbag is blinking and another orange light for the airbag is lighting continuously.
Then they stop blinking. They start again in random period.
I noticed that the red light is blinking like this:
4 long pulse then 8 quick pulse.
Do you know what this means?
I will go on a computer diagnostics on Monday, but would want to know before that what could be the problem with my baby.
Is it dangerous to drive this way?

i have a similar problem with a 97 626 my red airbag light is blinking and turns on and off randomly i kinda think mine has to do with bumps and hard braking everytime those occur it comes on there is a recall for my year model there might be one on yours too check it out also mine seems to just blink a few times and go off then on and off ill watch for the 4-8 code yours is doing
