94 Mazda 626 DX Trans problems
 

Just got the car about a month ago. Has about 170k on it. Had the codes pulled on it. It came up safety neutral switch, temp of fluid, and torque converter. The mechanic that changed my switch and my fluid said that the fluid is not filtering correctly and his advice is to replace the transmission. Ive done my research to know that transmission problems are common with a CD4E. I was wondering if it would be better to rebuild the one i have or replace it with something comparable. Im not interested in swapping for another CD4E. I need to know what other transmission i could use for my 626. I cant find any information on that. I have a 2.0 4L. Anything information helps.
