We got the bezel off but the darn radio seems to be attached in the back / center of the radio .... is it? How do you get this thing out?!

 

The factory radio has 4 small rubber grommets on the edges of the radio. You remove those and use 2 U shaped metal removal tools. You can make 2 out of a coat hanger. Insert them in the holes. 1 on each side and push them sideways to unlock the tabs then pull.
