93 626 2.0 5 spd hesitation

hi im having trouble figuring this problem out. the car starts a little hard sometimes but when started it idles smooth goes into warm up fine. ok heres the real problem when you accelerate the motor wants to die and wont rev but when you slowly accelerate it doesnt wanna die and you can drive. when driving you can push the the gas pedal about an 1/8 inch at a time if anymore that problem will happen. no cel no stored codes im hoping this is somthing silly. the only thing i can think of is a clogged cat.

things that have been replaced. MAF,Distro,CAP,plugs n wires,TPS,exhaust(after the cat),battery,o2,air cleaner box and all the things that go with it,fuel filter

i also checked for vacuum leaks and there wasnt any.
im planning on punching the cat out this weekend but if theres anyother ideas out there that would be great.

The only things I can think of is fuel pressure or clogged exhaust. Hook up a vacuum gauge with a long hose to monitor the reading. If vacuum goes to near zero while at highway speeds then the exhaust is plugged. Do this while holding a steady speed, because it is normal to loose vac while accelerating.

great news problem fixed cost me 4 bucks. went to autozone picked up a book and picked up new plugs and a fuel filter trying the cheap things 1st. pulled the old plugs and met me tell ya they were bad. they were ngk for a diferent car i could fit a nickel in the gap and the electrodes were rounded. i installed the new plugs started it up and perfect full throttle range and no more problems. thanks again for the help guys.

I was going by what you said when said you replaced the plugs, wires, and fuel filter. I had this problem with an 4 cyl Olds with with the owner claiming the same items replaced. It had these bosch "+4" plugs that were junk making it run he same way. I replaced them with the standard AC plugs and it came back to life.
