88' 323 Died while driving

Left work the other day. Got about a mile down the road and engine died. All lights still working and CEL did not come on until I had pulled over to the side of the road. Tried to restart and nothing. Engine would not turn over. Got out and opened hood and did the fiddle around with some of the wires thing. When I tried to start it again engine rolls over, but will not start. So far have replaced distributor cap, plug wires, rotor, plugs, ignition coil and pick up set inside distributor, but still no start. Pulled hose from fuel filter on firewall and get fuel when trying to crank engine. Am not sure , but I think I am not getting any spark to plugs. Pried back timing belt cover and appears that timing belt and tensioner are okay. Any ideas what else I can try?
