626 V6 No start after headgasket change
Hi Mazda forum!I have as the title states a 626 V6. It overheated on the way home from the guy I bought it of. I drove it until it stopped, I shouldn't have. after this it was impossible to start it if somebody didn't open the throttle valve fully. I changed the radiator and then the head gasket (tough job) I have only done it once before on a simple engine, but I was optimistic. Now when all put back together it wont fire it seems like. The spark plugs looked horrid so i changed them and the rotor lid as well. PLEASE I am desperate for help, I need to get this car working!
Thank you for your time |
Could be all sorts of reasons.
Did you get the head planed? Timing belt linned up correctly? Fuel pressure? Spark plugs firing? |
listen to grim reaper. do a compression test. check all connections to the cam and crank sensors, etc.
