Default 323 Left Turn Signal

My left turn signal is extremely temperamental! It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't and I can't find a pattern to it at all. I've been stopped at lights and had itl go back and forth between working and not--I wasnt even moving! It went months without working, worked consistently for a few months and just recently went back to being finicky. Any ideas for what might be going on here? Anyone else have the same problem? Thanks!

I would say the base where the bulb goes in is making intermittent contact. Remove the bulbs and clean the contacts.
