Hello! I love my Mazda. But she's not doing so well. Last night the alternator belt went. I almost made it home but 2 miles from home, she completely died so I had her towed to my mechanic's house.

Overnight... the key-in-ignition chime started going off. And it hasn't stopped!!! Even with the key OUT of the ignition it is still chiming. Has anyone experienced this & if so, how do I fix this? Thank you!!!!!

1. Locate it in the car...

2. Remove It (Forcefully)


I'm sure that on a car that is over 10 Years old, you are not expecting it to be "Showroom Perfect" It's probably just transportation.
