My daughter has a 1993 929 with about 180K miles on it and it will barely start and, when it does, it runs very roughly while it does run which usually isn't for very long. It seems to be a timing problem to me but I'm not a mechanic. It knocks fairly loudly too. I'm thinking that perhaps the timing belt has slipped or something. Any advice would be appreciated.
