my car cant breathe!

Hey there,

I have an 04 6S wagon. and I installed a fender mount CAI, nothing special un vetted Ebay parts. My issue is I have to completely remove the factory air box and that means taking out the baffle I re flashed the ecu with the new install, and closed the baffle air valve. now I get a rough idle, and no power between 2000 and 3000 rpm. im also getting a multitude of engine codes including boost valve stuck closed, and EGR fault and after 20 miles or so I get a bank 1 O2 lean and bank 2 lean. Ive tried a few things with the baffle and no luck when I take the CAI off, and go back to the stock set up all these problems go away.
Is there any one else in here who have had these same issues? And is there any way to by pass them and keep the CAI?

2 things.
1) Plug the vaccuum line that went to the original stock air box.
2) Leave the green solenoid electric connector plugged in, do not remove it. It doesn't matter about those vac lines.
3) i can't count! If the MAF is near a bend, you will have issues!
4) tighten all connectors

The green solenoid is at stock location in first pic, on 2nd pic it is tucked away and still plugged in electrically!

See the white round thing (1 way check valve i believe) on the left side 1/2 down on 2nd pic, that is plugged up, if you don't have a proper plug, stick a screw in it!

Pic 2 was my original set-up.
Pic 3 is my current!
