intakes and carbs?

I know weber makes a bad ass looking two barrel perf. carb. but does any one make an perf. intake for the 2.0 b-series.

RE: intakes and carbs?

not really much you can do with a intake if your intentions are to body drop the truck, there is not any room under the hood to use a perf intake. I actually have a weber .380 with a k&n 4" tall airfilter and had to cut the hood to allow for the clearance. and the very top of the carb is clean and flush with the hood and all 4 inches of air filter stick through the hood. hope that helps. just stick with the weber. it is awesome and actually gets better gas mileage than the stock carb.

RE: intakes and carbs?

I only know of two places that make a performance manifold for the B2200 and B2000, unfortunatly there are a few catches to them. The first is both companies are in Africa, the second is although I think they are $60 and $80 USD I think they are both for delereto (sp?) setups. The last time I looked a used carb setup would run $800 and a good one would be well over $1200.

I soon hope to be able to custom make aluminum manifolds for the B2200 and 2000 and can currently make modifications that can add a few hp and gas mileage depending on your setup.
