1989 B2600 AIR MASS METER
After 2 weeks of work on my 89 B2600 4x4 going from replacing the cluth, the fuel pump, sparks plugs and cables, couldn't fired up the truck, the truck started for about 5 seconds and stalled. Finally fulling around I disconnected the air mass flow meter, and the truck started without any problem, of course it runs crappy. the air flow here in Canada cost $400.
My question, is it really the flow meter or could be the plug or a short ?? Does anybody had this issue? It is almost impossible to find the flow meter in any auto parts around here. Is there a way I can do a test, before I spend the money ? Does the For Ranger has the same flow meter? Please I need help! Thanks a lot, |
