Windshield Frost
2004 Mazda 6 4 cylinder
I'm having problems trying to figure out this problem.Whenrunning the ac the front windshield frost up at the bottom of the windhieldon the outside. The ac **** is not turned to defrost. Could there be somthing blocking the vents or some kind of filter is clogged.

RE: Windshield Frost
I have a new honda accord that does the same thing now that the nights have cooled down. I had to raise the temp setting so they are equal for passenger and driver to get rid of the problem, usually above 72 degreese.

RE: Windshield Frost
are you actually running the ac on defrost and is this the summer time???? but in any case i know alot of imports (mazda, honda, acura) use this as a standard, when you turn the defrost on it turns on the ac as well, this temps the windshield and actually defrosts it faster, but after the windshield is starting to defrost it is up to the driver to hit the ac button and turn the ac off.
