Switch next to gear stick

Just brought a 2008 5 ts2 td and I have this switch next to the gear stick. Any clue as to what it does? Beeps from glove box area when pressed. Thanks

Try again, you now have five posts, and a lot of web sites use that as the magical threshold for posting pictures.

I still have no clue accept when your booting it it doesent beep but when your in like 1st/2nd gear it beeps and I smell diesel...
