parking brake

Default parking brake

have 2001 mazda tribute and need to adjust the parking brake , it has rear drums. any help ? . thanks steve

Your parking brake uses a cable and you can adjust it at the lever. You'll find a nut that tightens the cable when pulling it up. Parking brakes is a separate system from the common brakes and I am not very confident with its adjustment procedures if I'll do it myself.

thanks , i got it adjusted, it's a 10mm nut that need tighten . it's about a 5min job. thanks again . steve
