Ok need some help with my 323

Ok well I did my rear drum breaks today.
I did it buy the book and every thing.

I now have new wheel cly on both sides. I have gotten the Drums turned.
My shoes looked ok but I tryied to replace them anyway, but when I did I couldn't get the drum back on so I just put the old ones back on the had good wear on them but still had over half of the shoe still left so I figured ok might as well.

I also used the one man bleeder kit and I did every thing the instruction said.

Well when I got done the road (after making sure the breaks worked ok) When I was going about 35-40 and applied on the break I got the shuddering again.

So I am trying to figure out what it can be this time?

What kind of sysptome is that?

Struts? my be my front pads are worn? I did replace the front pads abut 6 to 7 months ago.

Well I am kind of worried, I need some help guys

You need to determine where the shudder is coming from, front or rear brakes. The best way is when driving about 45mph or so. Pull the hand brake up to apply just the rear brakes, but just enough tension to feel the brakes drag. If you feel the shudder then, it is in your rear brakes.

If you feel the shudder in the steering wheel and brake pedal, it is most likely in the front brakes and the rotors need to be turned.

Yeah I was afriad of that. I think your right on the it being the front rotors.

I never got them turned when I got the new pads in. Ok so I will just take them to get turned soon.

Is there any way this could be something else?

I think your right about it being the front, because the shudder isn't so bad as it once was and I though it felt it up front a little bit.

Is it ok to drive for a little while like this? I know that that incresses the stress that the worn on the rotors and pads but as long as I am not to hard on them and I am not driving to far and stuff?

It's okay to drive a little while like this. The biggest problem is just that it is annoying.

There is nothing else that can cause a shudder in the vehicle while braking, just the rotors or drums being out of round.
