i have a 1985 mazda 12a motor completely stock accept for exhaust. The carburater sticks wide open !! It's fine if I drive it normal. But if i stick the pedal to the floor it stays stuck WIDE OPEN i have to revv it several times to bring the RR's down to an idle. I looked at the carb for hours and can't seem to figure it out !! can anybody help me or give me ideas ?

 

hmm have you checked the spring ?? just wondering .... try turning the car off and punching it like you would if you was really driving it .. see if it is stuck then... maybe with luck it will still be stuck so you can trace the problem... let me know ...
