no fuel to cylinders. Wont start
 

help! Replaced timing an all assy belts. Install new plugs. Getting fire but plugs are dry. Getting fuel all way to intake. Cranks but wont start. Please help been on this 3 weeks. No blown fuses pump works, just no fuel in cylinders. 1989 323 1.6l non turbo

Was it running before? I'd recheck timing belt. Two simple rules for troubleshooting, KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid, not implying anything, just a rule of thumb. The other is, if it was running, and you changed replaced "something" chances are that is the problem you induced.

i have checked all things related. Valves to #1 are closed, rotor button, dead on#1, all timing marks(crank an cam) dead on perfect. Even shot start fluid, nothing! And plugs ARE FIREING BRITE WHITE SPARK! Ngk platinum. Awesome fire! Could it be a relay to injectors? Getting fuel to injectors but NONE in cylinders.

thanks kevin. I have went back twice. Remove valve cover and dist cap. If i have it rite on cam, at least the closed valves and rotor button points to no1 cyl, then i am dead on! Get spark, fuel pressure just non in cyl. Ase cert. Also live by the k.i.s.s. Principle. That may be why im stumped, huh. : )

I could be injectors, but all four? I am more inclined to believe fuel pressure, I know you checked it. If you are confident with the ignition, and you have fuel at the rail (make sure you have adequate pressure, it's got to be a common thing in the system to all 4 cylinders. Is there a fuel pressure regulator in the system?

There is a regulator for your car, however it is around 80 bucks. Have you replaced the fuel filter? One thing on the regulator, pull the vacuum hose off, there should be no fuel. This could cause the fuel pressure to bypass that would be common to all 4 cylinders.

Are you 100% sure the timing isn't out?
If you've got the rocker cover off, turn the crank to rock cylinder 4 valves, this will mean cylinder 1 will be on TDC.
