I recently bought an 04 RX-8 from a tow yard that has no keys. I want to see if the motor even runs before spending the money for a new switch and keys. Can anybody tell me how to hot-wire the car to start? I have removed the entire switch to release the steering wheel so that it could be towed home. I am an experienced mechanic by trade (recently retired) so I have a good understanding of how things work. I need power to the ECU, coils, and fuel pump and injectors. the starter is the easy part. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

 

You virtually have no chance whatsoever of getting it to run without keys to match the immobilizer.
