Mazda Demio 1.3, 2001 doesn't start.
I don't know what is the exact problem, but there's something with the immobilizer I think. It was driving fine one day, and later on it stopped driving. When I try to start it up, the motor turnes a bit, then stops.
Any help would be appreciated. |
RE: Mazda Demio 1.3, 2001 doesn't start.
I'm not familiar with that modelwe didn't have that in the United States. I don't know what style of anti theft system that car will have. But when you put the key in and turn it on, do you see an anti-theft light flashing rapidly, when it normally doesn't? If so, you have an issue with the anti-theft systemyes, the immobilizer. If not, your problem is elsewhere. I don't have access to any of Mazda's service publications for your vehicle, but you might try calling a local dealership and asking if they can sell you the workshop manual for your car. Have your VIN ready. In the US, I believe service manuals generally run around $100. Good luck!
