Mazda 6 2.0 DTS deisel 121 MPG Problem only 28MPG ?

Mazda 6 2.0 DTS deisel 121 MPG Problem only 28MPG ?
Hi,
I recently bought this 2006 mazda 6 DTS 121 model and Found out Iam not getting as much MPG as I should, Iam getting around 28/30 MPG Motorway driving at 60/70 mph, I should be getting at least 50/60 MPG. also on cold start up in a morning the engine seems to run a little rough (miss a little) after 30 secs or so seem to run ok. It has full service history amd has 100k on clock.
Any ideas ?
