Mazda 3 2007 Deisel MZR-CD 6 Speed Manual
 

Hello Everybody. This is my first attempt at using this Forum. I am trying to drain the gearbox oil in this vehicle. I need to confirm the drain holes and fill point. Also How do i check the fill level in this gearbox. Have tried the youtube videos but can not see this gearbox amongst the videos. I also have a 2012 Mazda 6 with the same gearbox.

2007, 2012, Mazda 3 will be similar to the 2012 Mazda 6.

There will be a 23 or 24mm drain bung on the bottom of the gearbox & a 23 or 24mm fill bung halfway up the front casing (facing the radiator) Adding new oil thru the fill bung until it starts to dribble out is the full mark.
